Important notice:
Clamping in the steering tube takes place via aluminium wedges, which are pulled against each other and are supported by the wall of the steering tube. Due to the high coefficient of friction of aluminium, this ensures a durable, secure fastening. This has an advantage over systems that use rubber rings for clamping. The rubber rings tend to loosen or slip, especially in wet conditions.
